Application Terms and Conditions

 

Collection and Usage of Data

KPMG will collect personally identifiable information when users apply for positions at KPMG. Such information may include but is not limited to:

  • Name
  • Current employer
  • Email address and telephone number.

KPMG stores applicants' information in an appropriate data-warehouse and will use such information for recruitment and business uses in accordance with KPMG’s Online Privacy Statement.

Applicants may also be asked to undertake the following assessments provided by third party suppliers:

  • Verbal and numeracy abilities assessment
  • Personality assessment.

Third party suppliers will also collect and hold personally identifiable information to assess the applicant’s abilities and personality traits. In addition, statistics may be produced for the ongoing evaluation of the assessments and research and to improve KPMG’s recruitment and development framework in an aggregated and anonymous basis.

 

Applicants consent and agree that:

  • they are making their personally identifiable information available to KPMG and KPMG third party suppliers by uploading such information during the application for positions and undertaking assessments.
  •  KPMG’s personnel involved in considering applications for positions and third party suppliers may disclose personally identifiable information with each other in connection with the assessments and for the maintenance of an appropriate data-warehouse.
  •  KPMG and third party suppliers may store their personally identifiable information in an appropriate data-warehouse.
  •  KPMG and third party suppliers may use aggregated non-attributable data from assessments to conduct research and analysis.
  •  in no event shall applicants hold KPMG liable for any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, resulting from the use of or inability to use information or materials made available to applicants.
  • experienced hire applicants will notify KPMG via jobapplications@kpmg.co.za and graduate candidates will notify KPMG via gcontracts@kpmg.co.za if they do not wish for their application to progress.
